สวัสดีค่ะ my amazing friends and family!
I hope this update finds you well! It's been extremely busy and an eventful time here in Thailand, and I’m excited to share what’s been going on with you.
First, I’m the puppies are growing fast and are as healthy as can be. They are chunky. Despite being tired, it has been a very interesting experience watching the puppies grow, and develop their unique personalities. Ember has been surprisingly really nurturing and such a good mom.Opal is doing good as well but she is still having to deal with the brunt of Ember’s intense emotions and mood swings.Ember and Opal have a surgery scheduled for September 12 to ensure they won’t have any more puppies, so please keep them in your prayers as that date approaches.
My air con was finally fixed after a couple weeks of waiting for the air conditioner company to fix the motor. It had short-circuited, and let's just say that living without it for a while made me even more grateful for cool air!
In other news, I officially started online school at Miracosta College. Balancing my teaching, studies, and Thai lessons, with everything else has been a bit challenging, but I’m getting into the groove. It’s been rewarding to dive back into learning while staying on track with my work.
Speaking of work, I’m excited to share that I also started my new job as a volunteer English teacher at a local school. The headmistress and staff have been so welcoming, and I’m already feeling right at home. The students are very sweet, and I’m so excited to get to know the students and come alongside them as they learn English..
On a personal note, my best friend Shauna has officially made it to Canada. I’m sad to see her go, but I’m so glad she’s safe and sound. Keep her in your prayers as she starts her journey in her new season of life.
Sadly , one of my students got me sick, so I’m currently attempting to rest so that I can recover. I’d really appreciate your prayers for healing and energy as I continue adjusting to everything going on.
Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support. It means the world to me as I navigate life here in Thailand. See you in next month’s edition on my adventures.
Much love and blessings,
Baylee
